Thrifty Thursday

Hello all my cyber friends. Today was an awesome day. I spent the majority of the day with my daughter. We went to a sewing expo in Cleveland, Ohio today. Bought some awesome patterns to try out. The fabric was so expensive, that I didn't buy any. I am sorry about $6.00 for a half yard is just plain not smart. We also got quite a few new ideas. Loved the button ladies. Alesta bought an awesome button ring, it is so unique. She bought a white one, goes with everything. Way to many artsy quilts for our tastes. But it was fun to get out and enjoy each others company. Came home to find out I will be receiving over 100+ screens tomorrow. I will try and finish them all up tomorrow. Leaving for Tennessee on Saturday morning for 4 days. I am taking my crocheting with me while I ride along. Stay tuned for something fun. 

Terrific Tuesday

Trying to get a lot done. Working on projects to put in my store, except for I am missing a 14" black zipper I bought on Sunday. On to something else I guess. I cut out another pair of pajamas for myself. Might as well get them made up and out of the way. Screened another dozen shirts today, waiting on screens for 70 shirts. Maybe they will be here tomorrow. I made a cute small zippered pouch, except for the material I wanted to be on the outside is on the inside. It's ok, it's for me anyways. Cleaned off bookshelf today, have my stabilizer up there now. Trying my hardest to get organized so I don't loose anything else. Tune in tomorrow I am sure it will be a Wacky Wednesday.

Moody Monday

Here it is Monday again. Sure seems like Monday comes around quicker then any other day in the week. Weather has turned back to normal temperatures in March. We were having high 70's and 80's last week. Flowers are blooming so pretty. Farmers are looking towards getting in the fields in just a few weeks. I have been sorting and reorganizing my sewing things. (Hubby has threatened to get a dumpster). I am in the process of cutting out a few more pair of pajamas and some little tote bags that will have zippers in them. Going try to keep some items cut out, that way when the embroidery machine is doing it's job I can be at the sewing machine sewing other items. It will be a busy week here starting tomorrow. I am getting things around to take to goodwill, Dr. appointment Wednesday Morning. Cleveland, Oh all day Thursday. Home Friday to clean up and pack for my trip south on Saturday. I will be back on Tues.

Thrifty Thursday

It's beautiful out. Trying to recycle my pet food bags. I will be using cat food bags and recycling them into tote bags. I had posted a tote from a dog food bag and this customer seen it. She asked me to make 5 totes a month and mail them to her. They will be used as door prizes at a Kitty Rescue center. Some months maybe more then 5 totes, could be as many as 10. I best get to cleaning some bags and back to sewing. Started making some small business card holders, I went to get the snaps today so I can close them. Your credit cards may fit in as well as folded cash. More laundry out on the clothesline, finishing up an order of 15 hats, and need to pick up the house before customers arrive tomorrow morning. Just ordered 60 lime green shirts for a local FFA group. Waiting on the screens for those shirts. Tomorrow I plan to be on another order of hats, while they will be sewing out I will be setting up designs(putting 3 designs into one) for backs of jackets for another customer. Have a good evening. 

Wow Wacky Wednesday

Been a busy day already today. Working on embroidering hats for a restaurant in Fostoria, Ohio. Then had the heat press on to do 12 hot pink t-shirts for a 31 purse party. Easy to do, but with being hot outside and having the heat press on to 300 degrees. Things sure got warmed up in a hurry. Cleaned some of the sewing room out. A lot more needs to be done in that room. But will wait till that room cools off some first. Checked my email and had two designs returned to me digitized and ready to embroidered on items. One design is for hats for Northwest Antique Association, tractor clubs. The other is a tractor for a full back of a Carhartt jacket. On top of all this been trying to catch laundry up and get some hung outside to be line dried. Possibly cutting out some small zippered bags, that will be embroidered on for my Storenvy and Etsy store. Keep cool everyone.

Awesome Tuesday

It is so nice out for being March in Ohio. Bed sheets on the line=wonderful sleep tonight. I have been busy ordering screens for Tiffin-Sentinel FFA and sending out work to be digitized so I can do some embroidery for new customers. I haven't gotten much sewing done today, but I have done a lot of ordering. Sold an item on Ebay and on Amazon.com. Mailed out 6 packages today. One more to mail tomorrow. Got a question on yardseller.com about making cat food bag totes for a fund raiser. Waiting to hear back on that one. Need to get some aprons cut out yet today for my Etsy and Storeny stores. So hope to stay busy far into to tonight and get a good sleep. More pictures later tonight of what I have been working on. 

Moody Monday

Not much sewing on this Moody Monday. Off to get blood work done, 6 month check up. Off to meet my Uncle Rick for breakfast. Then shopping at Jo Ann Fabrics and Hobby Lobby. Loaded up on great bargains even though I didn't need any more material. Meet my beautiful daughter for dessert. Off to do a screen shirt and then to order more t-shirts and sweatshirts for a big order. Pricing a bid on 300 can coozies and then taking it easy.

Sunny Sunday

It's a beautiful Sunny Sunday here in my neck of the woods. No sewing for the day. I have 60+ shirts to order and get the screens ready so I can print the shirts when they are delivered. Off to a Bridal Shower this afternoon. Husband's nephew is getting married in April. Summer(bride-to-be) will make Jerry an excellent bride and she will be beautiful. Won't watch much NCAA basketball today, as I will be at the shower and it's to beautiful to sit in the house. Maybe some crocheting later this evening. Have a great day.

Super Saturday

It's a beautiful Saturday in Ohio. I have been waiting for this beautiful weather for a while now. Had a busy morning. Came home and put a baby name and birth date on a beautiful pink blanket, Welcome to the World little one. Then did two hats for Dale. He has someone bringing him a new toy tomorrow instead of us having to go get it. So to thank the young man, Dale had me embroidery on 2 hats for him. Hope he likes them. Watching the last of Ohio Buckeyes then time to head out to sit around a fire. The first of the season. Enjoy your beautiful weekend.

Fantastic Friday!!!!

Got the order of 48 hats finished, trimmed, packed, invoiced, and delivered. Delivered 2 more shirts today. Now finishing up a small hat order with a Firetruck Logo on the front. Then on to a crying towel for my dad. I think he will need it this weekend watching the NCAA tournaments. Besides it amuses me to make stuff like that for him. He got a real kick out of embroidered toilet paper. Have a great weekend.

Finally Friday

It's finally Friday. I am getting ready to order pink shirts for a 31 purse demonstrator. Ordering screens. Hoping to hear today if I get the large order I priced last night. It's better to stay busy then to just sit around being bored. Couple more hats this morning, then on to some new jacket backs. Yep, I plan to post them also so you can check out new ideas. Productive Day

GO BUCKEYES

Got a lot done today, with lots more to do. Couple more hats to go and 48 will be done and ready for delivery tomorrow morning. I have a few more hats to go for another order, then time to switch the machine over to do 5 coat backs. Then back to 4 dozen more hats for another customer. I just put a bid in for almost 200 shirts, keep your fingers crossed I get the job. My business has really taken off this year and I sure hope it continues. Thanks to all you read my blogs and support my business. 

Thrifty Thursday

WOW, where has this week gone. I am getting clothes, shoes, coats and such around that we don't wear anymore and packing up the car. I will be taking everything to Goodwill tomorrow. No sense in pitching perfectly good items when somewhere someone will want it and use it. Off to sewing room to finish the order of 48 hats, only 14 to go. Then on to screen a few more shirts and starting another order of 3 dozen hats. Busy day at AZ Creations. Plus 16 college basketball games are on today. Probably just listen to them instead of watching. Also cutting out a few new aprons I have an idea for. I took a dog food bag and recycled it into a tote bag. Check it out. Nice and sturdy to take to market or library or what have you. great conservation piece.

Wild Wacky Wednesday

What a day. It's gorgeous out. Went to Findlay only to spend way to much time there. Had to get a few groceries, amounted to a trunk full. Of course a stop at Hobby Lobby, picked up a few new fabrics for some new ideas I have. Stopped and talked to a Motel about reserving a block of rooms in August. Our tractor club is being featured at the Findlay tractor show, so we will need rooms for a lot of out of towners and some from even out of state. Possibly a few from Canada. Got 20 rooms blocked at one. Stopped at the next one and I have to come back later due to only one person at that hotel takes care of things like that. Priced one order out, waiting to hear if I get the order. So when I go back Monday morning I will get a few more hotels to block some rooms for us. Now to find a place to have a catered banquet. I would rather be sewing. Time to fill out my NCAA chart. Husband wants me to do his for him also since he doesn't watch basketball. Have a great day out there in this gorgeous weather. And may all the broken needles miss your eye. 

Productive Tuesday

Getting a lot done today. Started with 48 hats needing embroidered on, less then 24 to go and the order is complete. Screen printed more shirts for Laney's Fight Like a Girl benefit. For every shirt sold, I am donating $3.00 back to the family. Another reunion shirt done and ready to be delivered. A scarf is about done, it is made of wool and being crocheted. Had lunch with a friend. Priced two orders and got both of those to do. Today is a good day. Thank you

Beautiful Tuesday morning. Crocheted scarf for Becky's  birthday is just about completed. Embroidery machine is on and hats are waiting to be embroidered on. Designing shirts for a group going on vacation. Nothing boring in my life. God Bless us on this wonderful day. Couple of these jacket backs to do yet also.

Monday blah's

Bought a few new embroidery designs to work up for a special young lady who will be born in the summer. I love to sew for babies. Keep watching and they will soon be published. Fixed bacon sandwiches for supper. Now to eat the piece of 3 layered chocolate cake with chocolate frosting that I have hidden from everyone. Off to possibly sew yet this evening.

Sewing on a rainy day

Here it is a Monday yet again. Yucky out with clouds and rain. I just ordered more white t-shirts for Laney's benefit. Ordering hats for 2 businesses. Then to cut out pjs for me.
